N24 Road Closure/ Limerick Junction
Plaza Express Provides Solution to Limerick Commuters
RAIL commuters travelling from Colbert Station to Limerick Junction and onwards to Dublin will endure considerable disruption and delays during the months of July and August as train services are suspended. The majority of trains between Limerick and Dublin travel through Limerick Junction, but this connection will be replaced by a fleet of buses for three days, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, in July. For one week in August the N24, which passes by Limerick Junction, will also be closed, meaning buses will have to take an alternative route, adding huge delays to journey times.
The disruption is necessary to allow Irish Rail to carry out long-awaited essential work on Oola Bridge.
However, Plaza Express have the answer with their NON STOP bus service between Limerick and Dublin.
With journey times of just 2 hours and features such as FREE parking in Limerick, Coffee for €1, FREE WiFi, tables and powerpoints, the Plaza Express answers the prayers of potentially stranded commuters!
Even better news is the price: The 1st 5 seats everyday are available for just €11 return and the rest for €20 return.
