Kelly Travel is a family run business based in Pallasgreen, in East Limerick. Owner operators Michael and Joan Kelly have built the business up from one mini bus in 1987 to a successful business with 17 modern, comfortable vehicles of every size. Sons Jonathan and Tim are also involved, heading up IT and Marketing respectfully. A family run business, highly professional yet still able to offer a renowned high level of customer service.
Kelly Travel operate a variety of services, not least of which is their own rural transport initiative. The service operates twice weekly under licence issued by the department of transport and has become a vital link to Limerick city for the local villages of Barna, Old Pallas, Kilteely and surrounding areas. Kelly Travel are contracted by CIE for many school transport services throughout east Limerick, several of which are for persons with varying levels of disability.
Proprietor Michael Kelly’s knowledge of Limericks road ways is second to none. Having grown up in West Limerick and settled in East Limerick later in life, Michael has a unique understanding of Limerick city and county.
The highly dedicated staff at Kelly Travel are second to none and combine great customer service with professionalism, integrity and an in-depth local knowledge.
All mobile workers (drivers) are fully compliant with Regulation EC no 561/2006 on mobile workers working hours and rest periods.
Kelly Travel management is proud their drivers will be among the first in Ireland to complete their “Drivers CPC” training. Furthermore, a third party company has been engaged to maintain the highest working standards possible and to ensure compliance with all Irish and European rules and regulations.
Kelly Travel’s fleet of vehicles has always been as comfortable and modern as possible, maintained to the highest standards both mechanically and cosmetically. A great pride is taken in the appearance and comfort of the vehicles, a dedicated cleaning staff is on site seven days a week.
