With Kelly Travel you always know where your students are! Many of our larger coaches are fitted with GPS Tracking systems allowing us to know in real time where the vehicle is without a phone call to the driver.
The number one factor when carrying children of any age is safety! Kelly Travel has been an advocate of seatbelts on coaches since long before it was a legal requirement. However seatbelts alone are not enough. There are a host of other factors which should be taken into account where the carriage of children on board are concerned:
· The Driver: The driver of a bus is often overlooked. Key factors include whether the driver has had adequate rest prior to starting his working day. · The Age of the Coach: Modern coaches in general have more advanced safety features such as ABS, impact protection, CCTV etc. · Use of Seatbelts. While having seatbelts fitted is important, they are pointless unless they are used. Those supervising children on buses should ensure the use of seatbelts and proper conduct of passengers by sitting throughout the coach, not just at the front.
