August 2o2o.
School Transport (Operated on behalf of Bus Eireann).

Our school transport routes will operate as normal. However there are some new measures below which parents should advise their children of, and encourage them to follow.

  •  Masks: These will be required on all Secondary School Services. It is parents responsibility to ensure children have a mask and backup mask for travel. If a child is exempt from wearing a mask this should be communicated to our office prior to the start of the school year so we can have suitable arrangements in place.
  • Seats: All students are required to sit in the same seat position in the morning and evening each day and throughout the school year. Parents should remind their children of the need to adhere to this and not move about the coach.
  •  Sanitiser : The coach is fitted with a hand sanitising dispenser just inside the door. All students should sanitise their hands upon entry.
  • Food : Please nofood or drink to be consumed on board. 1x 500ml bottle of water per student is allowable.
  • Boarding Procedure : Students should remain physically distant while waiting and queuing for the coach. Once assigned seats are set, passengers should aim to queue having the rear most passengers boarding first.Secondary School students should be wearing their mask over the mouth and nose prior to approaching the boarding door.
  • Ticket must be ready to be shown on entry.
  • Alcohol Hand Sanitiser is located just inside the front door and should be used on entry to the coach.
  • Allow space for those in front to use the hand sanitiser unit prior to stepping into the coach.
  • Upon reaching your school, please remain seated until passengers ahead of you have started to exit.
Some passengers may be slower than others, so please remember to give people space and time to exit ahead of you.
